Registration For participation in the 5th/6th Select program.  Open to 5th and 6th graders currently enrolled in Wachusett Youth Lacrosse MBYLL 5th/6th program.

This program is geared to players with the skill, commitment and desire to play at a higher level.  It is in addition to the existing MBYLL Town program.  All players are expected to be full participants in the MBYLL program in order to also participate in the “select” program.
  
Games will be played on either Friday or Saturday and there will be practices beyond the regular MBYLL practices so participation in this program would mean at least 2 more nights a week committed to the sport of lacrosse.

Number of teams to be determined based on interest level of our players and coaches.  Team size will be capped at 21.  Evaluations will be held during the month of March.

Program cost is TBD  no payment is due until teams have been formed.

Registration for the U7 Sticks Only Lacrosse Program.  Open to boys or girls who are interested in learning the game of lacrosse.  The program will run for about seven weeks beginning late April and will be run by coaches, parents and players from our program.

Introduction to core competencies of lacrosse:

• Soft lacrosse balls will be used

• Controlled player to player passing

• Soft toss from coaches will be used for catching drills

• Defense drills will consist of identifying the appropriate opponent to cover and moving with him/her, there will be no stick checking or body contact in defending drills

• No Goalies

• Parents, guardians or other responsible adults should remain on site for duration of clinic.
